Thus, the largest Municipality of Central Greece has no General Urban Plan, and therefore there is no possibility for\u00a0land use, with all that this entails.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Christos Pagonis mentioned the problem that exists in the district of &#8220;Haravgi&#8221;,\u00a0where the City Plan was approved at 60%\u00a0while\u00a0for the remaining part the residents are required to pay retention fines.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, he pointed out the major problem that exists in the municipalities of Central Greece with waste management, asking the deputy Environment Minister to provide a legislative initiative to unblock the issue\u00a0in order \u03c4\u03bf avoid losing million in\u00a0projects that are either\u00a0n progress or have been initiated.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mayor Christos Pagonis raised some lingering issues for the City of Chalkida, such as the lack of a\u00a0General urban and City\u00a0Plan for a large part of the district &#8220;Haravgi&#8221; and also\u00a0the matter\u00a0of waste management, to\u00a0the Deputy Environment Minister Giannis \u00a0Tsironis, at a\u00a0meeting that took place on Tuesday June 14 in Central Greece, Lamia.
