Vasileios Touchtidis was born and raised in Chalkida. He is member of a large refugee family of five. For tewnty-two consecutive years he serves as Chairman at the Cultural Association of Saint John in Chalkida, he was a Board member at Chalkida Pontian Association and Treasurer at the Coffee Traders Association of Chalkida.
He owns a restaurant and is married with two children. He deals with the local government for twenty years and was appointed as Vice Mayor in September 2014.
