Promoting the European Cities & Regions Alliance for Roma Inclusion through strengthening Roma networks at local and regional level was the subject of the conference held in Athens on April 12 by the European Cities & Regions Alliance and the Central Union of Municipalities aiming at the effective integration of the Roma at local, regional and European level.
During the conference innovative solutions and approaches to the ongoing issue of Roma inclusion were presented, while specific programs were announced to be implemented by the competent ministry in cooperation with local authorities in the coming period. The Munipality of Chalkida was represented by Vice Mayor Mr. Michalis Keratsas.
